I always turn off VSync in Games and turn Adaptive VSync on in the Nvidia Control Panel. It worked for skyrim before but now it doesnt anymore? It works fine for other games just not Skyrim. It jumps to like 100+fps and will probably cause problems with the Engine. Anyone ever had this and can help? I noticed Vsync was not working. It was at 100 frames plus with massive screen tearing. I noticed this on a couple other games too. Inexplicably some of them Had Vsync disabled. I double checked the Nvidia control paneI and sure enough I had it set to on. I turned it off, save it, exited, got back in to the control panel and re-enabled it.

I recently upgraded to windows 10 and reinstalled BF4. I don't like regular vsync and use adaptive vsync on most games and have on the past on win 7 with this. However, I enable it in nvidia control panel and I turned the frame rate counter on ingame through console command and my frames still go to 80-110's as if the adaptive is not enabled. It is on fullscreen mode and vsync in OFF in game. I don't pick up on any input lag when turning vsync ON in game, but I don't know if its regular vsync or is nvidia overriding and making it adaptive at that point. I thought that Nvidia would override either way if I have it off or on ingame. I found the solution of putting a frame rate limiter on at 58 that keeps at more or less right at 60( if I set it to 59 or 60 it will still go to 62 and I'll get stutter), but adaptive vsync should work alone without the frame rate limiter, so what am I doing wrong. game updated, nvidia drivers updated running on gtx 980 SC

Same here. Did a fresh Win10 installation, Win7 still in another disk. Adaptive Vsync doesn't work in BF4 with Win10, I keep it enabled for the game in NV Control Panel and off in-game, it stutters like it's totally off. Works perfectly when going back to Win7. And I kind of need the Adaptive Vsync, since I can't keep 144fps all the time, I don't want to see the frames decreased to 72fps (regular Vsync) and Vsync off is a no-go because of the constant tearing.

Latest Origin update (with the new UI) fixed this issue.

I am experiencing some minor stutters in my game.

1. I have disabled all Vsync through BethINI and enabled Nvidia Vsync in the control panel but that function does not seem to work at all. Framerates in game are uncapped 150+. Any ideas of why this is not working? I believe it has worked in the past. Maybe because I'm starting my game via SKSE64?

2. Setting control panel back to default and using Vsync through BethINI results in stutters also. What to do???
