This download should be compatible with the base game. This module should be plug-and-play with existing SP missions.
Welcome to the SWO Mission Control ReadMe file!
The SWO mission controller provides several fun and immersive ways to control mission specific companions.
BONUS: Mission Helicopter
The mission helicopter is scripted to move quickly from base to mission and back. If you like the helicopter it can be easily saved as a separate composition for later use.

INSTALLATION
This ALPHA build includes a DEMO mission which should be accessed through the EDEN editor.
Install to: Arma 3usermissions0_SWOmissionControlDEMO.VR
To get the most out of this document open the DEMO and follow along.
Installation Notes
Using the plug-in:
1) Open the demo and create a new composition from the SWO_unit assets (Entities >> Layer SWOunit)
2) Create a new composition from the SWO_boss assets (Entities >> Layer SWOboss)
3) Create a new mission and add the two compositions
4) Save and alt+tab to access your mission directory
5) Paste the contents of the demo mission (without the Mission SQM file) into your new mission folder
6) Paste the in-engine init properties (see bottom of this doc) into the EDEN mission init field.
7) Save and Play Scenario
You should now be able to pick up the mission controller or tablet and use the buttons to control your companion.
(Note: many of the static objects, like the desk, are not included in the composition layer.
Two of the objects do not retain rotation data within composite layers. The hackable camera (SA_hcam) will need to be adjusted in the direction you want the security camera view to face. The second object is the tablet (SA_camcontrol) which needs to be rotated 60-90 degrees on Y-axis to face the player.)

FAQ
Q: What is this?
A: SWO Mission Control is a framework for easily adding functional companions to ARMA III. It's a GUI toy.
Q: How do I use it?
A: However you like. This Alpha build is not user-friendly or well optimized; as such, unsupported. Future versions will have a more simple user experience and extensive documentation on how to use the features. Right now I encourage you to load the demo and press some buttons.
Q: Why did the screen and stuff end up on the floor after I followed the steps to add the controller to my own mission?
A: The desk and other static objects are not included in the composition layer. You can either move them into the layer via the entities sidebar or add a few prop objects of your own.
Q: Stranger keeps getting knocked down over-and-over again. What am I supposed to do?
A: Grab a weapon and help him out!
Q: Where's Sasha Ashe?
A: A stand-alone version with the character Sasha Ashe is coming soon. Currently soliciting for character and custom weapon models. https://forums.bohemia.net/profile/1161172-wogz187/
Q: Why do I get an error about an undefined variable or the in-game monitor starts off black?
A: Make sure to paste the init cam properties (below) into the EDEN mission INIT field under Attributes/General/INIT.
Q: Are you the worst script writer ever?
A: Undoubtedly.*
Q: How do I edit the buttons on the controller?
A: The dialog menu is saved in the Description.ext file. There you can edit both button names and functions.
Q: How do I project the video feed onto a different screen that I choose?
A: Open the attributes of the prop screen (atele1) and copy the Object Specific/texture #0 field. Paste that into the same field of your needful object.
Q: I have a thousand ideas how you can make this better. Where do I send them?
A: Message me on BI ARMA III forums, wogz187.
