Microsoft Access is a database management system from Microsoft that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software-development tools. Microsoft Access stores data in its own format. Software developers, data architects and power users can use Microsoft Access to develop application software, but if you don’t master database designing and management, you will miss the opportunity to create databases designs or manage data properly.

Visual Basic Sql Code Example Software

I am writing Visual Basic 6.0 code to retrieve data from the iSeries. Is there any example code available? When I request a record set that returns no records, I get an error. I can use an ?On Error Statement?, but I don't like to do that. My error specifies 'Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.7 Library' and the command I am using is 'rsADO.Open 'F03402YL5 order by LBPDTE,LBPTME', cnADO, , , adCmdTable' where rsADO is a record set. I am modeling this after requests from Microsoft SQL Server 2000.

I would suggest searching the iSeries Info Center with 'ADO' as your search string.

You might also try this .NET framework page to see some working examples.
