If anyone here hasn't had the chance to play the KOTOR era mod on SWBFII, I highly recommend it. Even though the gameplay is obviously nothing like KOTOR, the true-to-form art style of the assets, as well as the unique soldier classes it lets you play as make it a really fun and immersive experience. I'd like to know, is anyone else enjoying it as much as I am?
At certain times, I find myself almost forgetting that I'm playing Battlefront, and instead feel like I'm in some great battle right out of the Jedi Civil War. Though I intensely adore KOTORs I and II, in my opinion, their gameplay never excelled at capturing the effect of large scale battles, and this mod fills in that gap.
Next time I'm playing through Manaan and I hear the Republic and Sith troops talking of grand battles and trying desperately to get kolto sent to the battlefields, I'll have more context. Rather than those battles being some far-off thing that's only talked about, I'll have actually gotten the chance to fight in those battles, adding to the experience of those missions.
